This is a high-fidelity prototype for a project from one of my classes last year that I worked on with two other classmates. We never officially came up with an actual name for the app but I'll refer to the app as "MHA" (shortened for Mental Health App).
Research:
-Before we started to officially design the app we had to research our topic and target audience.
-This app is specifically designed for adults to use, mainly younger people who want to improve their mental health.
-Learn about mental health disorders including but not limited to depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, behavior disorders, and addictive behaviors.
-Conduct interviews and surveys asking what people expect from the mental health app before creating it.
-Research about HIPAA: https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/index.html

Notes and Requirements after Research:
-18 to 39 year olds deal with the most health issues.
-A governing agency creates the rules about how to keep mental health information private because it has the same level of privacy as health information.
-Mental health records must be kept in a secure online database for any information that may be accessed.
-For the app, we can’t share any of the individual’s experiences unless it is in an unidentifiable way leaving out crucial details.
-Make sure that the app is HIPAA compliant.
